Leading emo pop punk band Paramore have finally released news of a 5th album after a 4 year gap since their 2013 self titled LP. The band’s Facebook page had been teasing fans with mysterious artwork over the past few months before announcing new album “After Laughter” to release on May 12th with Fueled By Ramen.

Along with this an exciting new European tour has been announced. “Tour One” will include shows from Ireland all the way to Austria, and just about everywhere inbetween.

While the new track has hints of their pop punk roots the band has grown up from their previous styles from “Riot!” and “Brand New Eyes” with a new 80’s synth pop vibe, with tropical sounding beats and a summer sounding riff.

The band also released a colourful, electric pop themed music video featuring the return of former drummer Zac Farro, who departed from Paramore in 2010.
